Introduction

For many of my clients, coaching started out as a bit of an unknown – they weren’t exactly sure what is was and how they would benefit. For this reason I’ve included a little information on the coaching process I use.

For a successful coaching relationship it’s important that there is a strong basis for trust and confidence. It’s equally important that a strong connection exists before you select a coach. For this reason, I offer a free introductory meeting (20 – 30 mins) either online or via phone to give you a chance to learn more about me and my coaching style and for me to understand what you’d like to achieve through coaching.  If you decide that you’d like to proceed, we can book your first session.

Coaching sessions can be conducted face-to-face, virtually via phone / Skype or as a combination of these methods.  With the shift to flexible working environments, much of my coaching is done virtually with clients around Australia. How we structure your coaching program depends on what you need and the length of your coaching program depends on what you want to achieve. The objective of the first session is to clearly identify your goal and what actions you need to take to achieve this.

If your organisation is sponsoring your coaching, a 3 way meeting between you, your manager(the sponsor) and myself may be requested. This is to ensure expectations are aligned, a sense of direction is set and to establish the basis for review at the completion of the program. Where your program is sponsored, all conversations and information will remain totally confidential between you and I throughout and after the Coaching process.
